Latest Update

So here's the deal, it looks like I'll get out Thursday am. I was fitted for my hazard suit and respirator today, I hope I don't need them. I am flying in to Tokyo, then teaming up with a friend of my sister Audrey who can interpret for me. First, we will check on her parents who live near the nuclear reactors, then on up to Sendai, the epicenter of the damage. There are several Hospitals in the area in dire straights, one is a Red Cross Hospital, the other is Sendai General Hospital. I have all my credentials in order and should be able to get to work immediately. The Government has helped clear the way for foreign doctors to start working. I have all my food and lodging (the car may be better than a tent) and I can be self contained for about 2 weeks. When I get around to starting a new blog with an appropriate name, I will post it here....g How about "Japan March 2011" LOL!
