Stars and Stripes

I want to share a moving moment that happened to me yesterday. I was walking near one of many flattened buildings when I noticed among the debris something red, white and blue. It was a small color-crayon drawing of an American Flag on construction paper, the back had a name on it, Rene'. I asked what was the building this was, and my heart sank when I was told it had been a kindergarten. I am keeping this flag, I will take a picture to share with you. It will be on my facebook page, jozdad6@yahoo.com. Haitians love Americans, we are not so appreciated in other parts of the world. I'm afraid the flag was probably drawn by a child inside the kindergarten before the quake...g
