Changing gears again

Today was a good day, it cost me $10 to buy plaster from a local pharmacy, but I was finally able to splint a child's unstable knee at one of my orphanages, probably a lateral femoral codyle fracture. I am trying to get ahold of Comfort which I can see just off shore, she needs orthopedic surgery or will be crippled for life, it is not an emergency, now that she is splinted, we have a week or two to cut, but we shouldn't wait too long, I'm sure I will find her a surgeon before then, on a positive note, the dying baby boy was crying with tears this am, music to my ears, he will be fine, and is probably to this point one of my greatest satisfactions, I thought he was already dead, all 6 mos. of him, but he will survive if I have anything to do with it. I am planning on joining the Israeli's tomorrow, I have heard their field hospital is the gold standard, but that their Doc's are tired, I would like to continue with the children exclusively, but I think I can do more good now en-masse in an EM entry portal. Anyway, that's the plan, being a free agent allows me flexibility to go wherever I am needed most, the Singapore Dr's are more than capable of taking over my clinics and orphanages. I'll miss the kids.

  2. Hi Grant,
I just contacted as many people as I could to see if someone knew of how to get in contact with the Comfort. We will be praying for Lenore and the orphans. You are doing such great work. As one of my friends said about you, "Even if he helps only one person, his efforts will be worth it." Another said, "Hooray for the slightly crazy and impulsive people in this world - especially those with medical
    degrees!

I am so proud of you brother!
    Love,
    Aud
